香港郵政 為響應世界郵政日，將於星期五（十月九日）舉行「一人一信」免費投寄日。

世界郵政日的由來，是一九六九年的萬國郵政聯盟大會議決把每年的十月九日定為世界郵政日，以紀念萬國郵政聯盟於一八七四年十月九日創立。此後，全球各國每年均參與慶祝這個日子。

在免費投寄日當日，市民可免費投寄一封私人信件予本地收件人。香港郵政將會在全線郵政局 （兩間流動郵政局除外）設置特別投寄箱，方便市民投寄信件。
